Italy is The Best Place to Travel in with kids

Share by ANDREW

We find that flying into Rome is a great starting point and the best way to find cheap flights is through Skyscanner. From there, one can choose from either using the rail system or to drive. We found that the 1st Class 15-day continuous travel Global Pass from Eurail, and renting a car from Auto Europe Rental are the best options. Both provide the opportunity to be more spontaneous, which most kids, especially the kid in all of us, love.

START IN ROME
Since you are already in Rome, stay two days. I don’t care if you’ve been there multiple times, there’s always so much more to see. As the saying goes, “Rome wasn’t built in a day”. For a fun and insightful look at what Rome has to offer other than the better-known sites, consider booking a tour with Context Travel. There is one tour in specific named, Building Rome: Evolution of a City.

This specific tour highlights some secondary locations that even frequent travelers to the city don’t often see, such as the Church of Sant’Ivo located on the campus of Sapienza College. Watching the art students fawning over this Baroque masterpiece by Borromini made our 12-year-old daughter, Bailey, appreciate something we didn’t expect her to. Her favorite pit stop, however, is the one made at Giolitti, one of Rome’s traditional gelaterias. Truth be told, it may have been a favorite of the whole group. ....... keep reading ...... http://bit.ly/2kCqLtq

CHILE IS THE MOST BEAUTIFUL COUNTRY IN THE WORLD

Share by BackpackMe
When it comes to natural beauty there is a certain cocktail of ingredients that definitely makes a country stand out. The most important ones are a low population density, a high variation in latitude, and varied climatic systems. There are several countries that check off these boxes. Naturally, the larger countries in the world have a distinct advantage. The USA, China, India, Norway, Canada, and many other countries can easily compete for the title of most beautiful country in the world.

For me, however, Chile is the most beautiful country that I’ve ever had the privilege to spend a lot of time exploring. Its terrific length of 4,300 kms takes it from sub-tropical latitudes all the way to the Antarctic. On that note, Norway is a pretty solid contender and geographically looks a lot like the Northern-hemisphere Chile. Of course, Norway goes further North than Chile goes south so you can actually witness the wonderful northern lights from northern parts of Norway. But the similarities end there. Due to Chile being at a triple junction of geologic plates, the country tends to rock with earthquakes more often than almost any other place in the world. This also results in incredible landscapes with volcanoes rising up to touch the skies amongst ancient glacial lakes with ice that is over 20,000 years old! ....... keep reading .....  http://bit.ly/2lkqIGP

Among Bangkok’s numerous night markets, relative newcomer Talat Rot Fai – frequently referred to in English as the train market (but with no connection to the railway market in Mae Klong) – is currently among the most popular, and seems to have an enduring appeal. It’s been on something of a journey since it first appeared on Bangkokians’ radar a few years back, and it now operates in a number of locations.
Talat Rot Fai began its life back in 2011 in the north of Bangkok, between the Saphan Khwai and Mo Chit BTS Skytrain stations and not far from the famous Chatuchak weekend market. Specialising in both new and second-hand retro and vintage goods, but also packing in a great selection of food and drink, the market was an informal affair and had a real rough-around-the-edges feel to it. In the early days, even getting in meant climbing through a hole in the perimeter fence! ....... keep reading  ......  http://bit.ly/2jpqxb4
