It has unique and exotic animal species
Most animals in Australia are exotic and rare than what other countries have. Take for example one of the most iconic animals in Australia – the koala. Koalas are marsupials and they only eat eucalyptus leaves. Because of their diet that is high in fiber, their slow metabolism makes them sleep for 18 to 22 hours each day. If you see a koala awake, take pictures immediately since it is a very rare occasion. Other famous marsupials that you can find locally are kangaroos, wallabies, and wombats.
Australia is also known as the home for a large carnivorous animal, locally known as dingos. Need one crazy fact? You can purchase kangaroo meat from a local supermarket or even order it from a restaurant.
