Over the past eight years I have visited China quite a few times. The fact that I have been more than once is testament to how captivated I am by the country and all it has to offer.
Over the course of these trips I visited most of the provinces and found that each one has something unique to offer, whether it be the landscape, the unique cuisine or ancient temples.
I encourage most people I meet whilst traveling to visit China, but many are apprehensive because it lies outside of the well trodden South East Asian backpacking routes of Thailand, Cambodia and Vietnam. For me this is one of the greatest charms of traveling to China; travel is authentic, rewarding and not overrun with tourists.
