WHAT YOU NEED TO DO IN BEAUTIFUL MALLORCA TRAVEL

Written by:Amanda // Category: Spain, travel tips

As winter sets in here in Alaska, memories of sandy beaches, warm weather, and tropical drinks start making their way into our thoughts as we begin to plan our 2016 travels. During our stay in Mallorca, Spain, we actually hit the tail-end of summer, and were a little bit disappointed about the weather being rainy a good 50% of the time. However, Mallorca is such a gorgeousisland, we would absolutely love to go back in the spring (think of the flowers), just as summer is starting, or right smack dab in the middle of it to experience the full tropical, sun-soaked island. I’m also a bit intrigued about what winter is like on Mallorca? All that to say, I’d move to Mallorca (aka island paradise) in a second if I had the chance — come sunshine, clouds, or rain!

Mallorca is a popular Spanish island for Europeans to go on vacation to, and is definitely a location worth noting in your European travel plans. Airline tickets straight to Palma de Mallorca aren’t too expensive, and we thought food prices and gas were also relatively moderate in comparison to Germany (where we were staying three months prior).

Although weather can affect some sunbathing and pool-time plans as it did ours, there are still plenty of things to do on the island when the sun is not shining. Here were a few of our favorites: ...... >>>

You Need to See the 5 Facts About Amazing Australia Travel

There is so much more about Australia that is waiting for your discovery. Whether you’re here because you’re planning to visit The Land Down Under soon, or you’re just plainly curious, here are a few facts about the amazing nation-continent.

It has unique and exotic animal species

Most animals in Australia are exotic and rare than what other countries have. Take for example one of the most iconic animals in Australia – the koala. Koalas are marsupials and they only eat eucalyptus leaves. Because of their diet that is high in fiber, their slow metabolism makes them sleep for 18 to 22 hours each day. If you see a koala awake, take pictures immediately since it is a very rare occasion. Other famous marsupials that you can find locally are kangaroos, wallabies, and wombats.

Australia is also known as the home for a large carnivorous animal, locally known as dingos. Need one crazy fact? You can purchase kangaroo meat from a local supermarket or even order it from a restaurant. Kangaroo meat is an alternative to beef or lamb and has 1-2 per cent of fat in it. ........ keep reading ..... ... http://bit.ly/1TxnpqY

REVEALING 10 AWESOME ISTANBUL TRAVEL THINGS TO DO

1. Sail or take a sunset ferry between two continents.

It’s easy to do this every day when you’re in Istanbul, and is a great way to see a lot of the city and capture incredible photos. In our case, we were lucky enough to be there during the Extreme Sailing Series‘ Istanbul event and were invited to join Team Turx — powered by Turkey Home — on their boat during the actual race. These things go 33 miles an hour!

2. Get lost in Istanbul.

One of the best parts of entire trip was getting lost in the streets in Istanbul and taking pictures. We found so many hidden little spots and met so many interesting people. Having no itinerary and no map is a fun way to see this city. ....>>

You need to see the Bulgaria’s hidden treasures

By Kate Eshelby
I’m laden with juicy fat cherries, freshly plucked from the tree. The sun shines and we’re picnicking among spangles of wild flowers and long grasses. A track steers back to the wood-beamed house where we are staying, past mud-and-timber houses tilting back into the earth.
I’m with my husband Mark and two children in a tiny hillside hamlet called Baba Stana, close to the village of Oreshak, in the heart of central Bulgaria’s Balkan mountains. It’s peaceful and bucolic, and far from the cheap-and-cheerful skiing or beach packages Bulgaria is most known for.
Yet people don’t think to come for the mountain scenery with its world-class frescoes and monasteries, even though many are Unesco world heritage sites. Somehow rural Bulgaria doesn’t sound that appealing.
Having flown into the capital, Sofia, with its gold-domed Eastern Orthodox churches, we’d stayed in Casa Ferrari, a small friendly guesthouse. The city brims with layers of history all mixing together into everyday life – Bulgaria had to grapple its independence from the Ottoman Empire after the Turks ruled for half a millennium....... >> http://stfi.re/xjzrwbn

TOP 6 REASONS YOU NEED TO TRAVEL TO CAYMAN ISLANDS

BY DOREE SIMON
1. There’s a spot aptly called Stingray City.

If you’ve been lucky enough to spot some stingrays on a dive or snorkel trip before, Stingray City will undoubtedly outdo those experiences tenfold. The stingrays began gathering in this area decades ago when fishermen would clean their catch and now flock here daily to feed on squid from the hands of divers, snorkelers and even swimmers in the shallow water. Don’t even think about going here without a waterproof camera.
2. It’s home to one of the healthiest reefs in the Caribbean. ..... >>

Revealing 11 exciting Experiences in Dubai travel

by Alex Schechter
Planning a trip to the city of gold? You'll want to do more than just shop at the mall. With a vast array of adventure activities, some top-notch beaches, and a seriously beautiful historic quarter, Dubai ranks as one of the most culturally interesting destinations on the planet. Here, our list of where to eat, drink, relax, and yes, shop.
Chill out at 1,821 feet in the air.

Of all Dubai's novelties (skiing in a mall, man-made islands, an aquarium restaurant), the one attraction you shouldn't miss is Burj Khalifa. Not only is it the world's tallest building (941 feet taller than the World Trade Center), the spiraling steel-and-concrete tower, whose silhouette was loosely designed after the hymenocallis flower, is a marvel of engineering. Do yourself a favor and ride the elevator up to the world's highest observation deck, which broke (yet another) record when it opened in 2014. At 1,821 feet above ground, the views won't disappoint. Tickets from AED 350......... >>
